Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodeling and restoration to new construction. As a key member of our crew, you will utilize your carpentry expertise and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring safety and efficiency on site. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively for framing, trim work, cabinetry, siding, and fixture installation.

  • Perform residential carpentry tasks including door hanging, cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, drywall finishing, stucco application, siding installation, and roofing.

  • Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, metal stud framing, and water damage restoration efforts.

  • Fabricate components as needed using CNC machines or other fabrication tools; interpret schematics for precise assembly.

  • Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols such as power tool safety practices.

  • Support restoration projects by mold remediation, plastering, caulking, electrical work assistance, and general handyman tasks.

  • Install fixtures such as lighting, cabinetry, doors, and hardware; perform construction painting and finishing touches to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure all tools and materials are used safely and stored properly.

Experience

  • Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking industries.

  • Familiarity with residential construction processes including framing, roofing, siding, drywall finishing, and fixture installation.

  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately; experience interpreting schematics is highly desirable.

  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, masonry equipment, CNC fabrication machines or similar tools preferred.

  • Knowledge of construction estimating procedures is a plus but not required.

  • Prior site experience in restoration industry settings such as water damage remediation or mold remediation is advantageous.

  • Demonstrated ability to lift heavy materials safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.

  • Basic electrical experience or plumbing knowledge can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
